Come out of your comfort zone

Most of us might have heard this advice "Come out your comfort zone".

Before coming out of comfort zone, let's think what is comfort zone? And how comfort zone is created?

To me, it's more about adaptability. If you are adapted to one condition or environment, it becomes your comfort zone. A new born cries immediately after it's birth. Because it's entering a zone which he or she is not used to. The comfort zone is the womb of its mom. But pushed to the uncomfortable zone. But he or she gets used to the environment, adapts to it and changes itself to a zone which is more comfortable for it.
Similarly, one has to put a lot of hard efforts to make any zone his comfort zone.

But is it applicable everytime? Have you ever experienced any situation where you meet some person for the first time and being more comfortable? Been to some new city and being so comfortable? Especially without any effort? You might have. When the thoughts are matching or when there is less dissimilarities or when the expectations are met, there comes the comfort.
But that doesn't mean, less expectation will bring comfort. Less expectation brings less disatisfaction but doesn't bring comfort.

So what brings comfort?
Its not just one factor but many factors influence it. More importantly the people.
When you go to a new city, where you don't know the language, How will you feel when you are alone, when you want to buy something? In the same situation how will you feel, when you have your friend nearby. Though he doesn't know the language you will feel comfortable, isn't it? Number one factor.

Now let's consider some other scenario, a workplace. In workplace you may have colleagues who are friends, colleagues who cares you, cares your growth, positive influencers, role models, who aspires you, who inspires you and of course who pulls you down. Here, you can be comfort from day 1 but the comfort level keeps increasing because of the people around you. How many of you felt uncomfortable as the days go? Until unless there is a huge change. Why we become comfort? And why is it changing? Its none other than us who created the comfort. The comfort we needed. We struggle to create that comfort. In the process of creating comfort, we learn. Learn to make friends, learn to make process better, learn to be effecient, learn to be unconciously doing the process and learn to be expert. So when we become expert our learning stops. Comfort makes us lazy.

Now let me talk something irrelevant. When a kid travels for the first time in flight, how excited it will be? Forget about kid. How was your first experience in flight? How excited you were before and after? Excitement level decreses after few boardings, isn't? Why? Have you ever thought? You become comfortable. The curiosity reduces.  Your excitement reduces. Your learning reduces. So?

So,  they say come out of your comfort zone. Keep learning,  create new comforts.

Stop expecting a comfortable ending of this passage.

You cannot master this!

To write about any topic one should be good at it, but here is one topic which one cannot master. I usually won't think much to decide the topic but this topic made me think for months not to collect the content but to take a decision whether to write or not. Yes, this topic is relevant for everyone in this world but no one can be a master in it.  If someone claims he or she is an expert in this,  it's obvious that they are not.

Yes you are right, It's maturity.

A matured human knows he has not attained the level of maturity.  Only those who are half matured, thinks they are matured.  I had this question in mind, I'm not matured,  then how I can write about maturity? I shouldn't write. I had this question again and again, but if I am not eligible to write,  no one in this world is eligible to write about maturity because no one is matured. If so who will write,  who will talk about maturity? Who will educate this world? After thinking long, I took a decision to write about maturity. It's not a great decision though, it opens my thought process, atleast when I write and read this.

I didn't read much about maturity, in fact I'm a poor reader and a very poor follower. So it's my view, you may be more matured than me and so your thoughts may vary. We can always discuss about it. So let me ask the default question "what is maturity?" Maturity (according to me) is understanding and acting best based on situation. In short, How you handle the situation. Do we realise while doing that we can do better than how we are doing? Or we realize it late? Realization happens only in the later stage and by the time we realize, the moment is gone.  Mistakes are done and some cannot be rectified. One cannot completely ignore the mistakes but can reduce it. Behaving immatured is not always a mistake but might hurt others.

Not sure how many of you experienced it, but I have. Thought I am very much matured and all my decisions are right,  when i was in class 10, I looked down at class 6 students that they are immatured. But we realize we are not matured during school only while entering college. The feel of becoming a much matured Adult comes on day one of college. Realization of immaturity of college days come only when we step into the first job. Is that Maturity comes with age? If so dont we feel, our grand parents sometimes behave immatured. At every stage of life we feel we are matured. But actually we aren't.

Maturity is accepting that I'm not matured but behaving beyond that understanding.

One Third of my Life!

With experience comes perfection. But its nothing wrong to be imperfect. Trying to be perfect is always good. In pursuit of being perfect don't miss to try. This piece would have just missed from being an article but this thought made this possible.

I was looking for the right context and words to make this perfect. I was supposed to write it on 9th may, a week ago but I couldn't. And I thought I have missed it and had a hard feeling since it is important to me. "Better late than never" these words gave me the guts to write this though its late.

It's about my life so it's important for me. Yes it's about one third of my life. There is nothing great to share but still i do. You may wonder, why i say there is nothing great. "Good is the enemy of Great". Great is defined by comparing it with something good or bad. Only then we will be able to find what's good or great. Everyday was great that I didn't have any day to compare and differentiate, what was good and what was great. I am talking about my days at my organization.

It's a decade now with my Organization. Oh really! I asked myself. The very first day when I joined here, I thought I should really serve long term - 5 years was my goal. Gradually after a couple of months I thought 3 years would be enough and I can switch to other companies. I used to wonder looking at my colleagues who had spent 5 yrs or 8 yrs with this wonderful Organization. I don't even remember how 3650 days passed by but each day was challenging and demanding. This keeps me moving. I have told many of my colleagues and friends that I'm gonna quit here or looking for change. Don't laugh, I might have told you as well.I have been telling this for past few years  but I haven’t quit. When I interospect, neither there is a push factor internally nor a pull factor externally.

Some may say, our workplace is an extended family. But I would call it a family. May be I'm blessed or lucky to have people around. If I quote their name I need to attach an excel sheet and mention their name, sorry your name. Yes! You. Each and everyone who is reading this would have contributed directly or indirectly in these 10 yrs motivating me, guiding me, being with me and shaping me.

I'm not exaggerating here. You may feel bored reading this. Of course, reading biography of a successful person would be interesting even if he drinks coffee, but a normal person's biography sorry story wouldn't be. Yet I should quote few things which I shouldn't miss. There were many ups and downs. But I cherish each and every moment. (I don't quote the names here for some reason) Have you played badminton with the Head of the function, not just one game but casually most of the days? Has your boss ever asked you, give me your details, let me find an alliance for you? Has your colleague become your friend accompanying you to look for alliances? Did your head become your friend planning trips with you? Head becomes care taker and stays with you in hospital when you are sick? Colleague invites you home for dinner, not once for formality but everyday when your parents were not at home? There is much more that i can't express. If all these happens with office colleagues, aren't they your family?

Employees leave when they are less engaged. But for me, it happened without realization. I was engaged without any engagement programs. I should definitely mention here the world class gym facility, which is another pull factor that helps me wake up early in the morning and attracts me towards office.

More importantly my friends,  my family,  my near and dear one who support me blindly in all my foolish activities, are the reason for whatever I have achieved. They are also the reason for the level of my madness.
I feel grateful to all those who are with me and who were with me, for who I'm now.

Thank you for shaping me and making me!

I know you are more curious to know why I didn't mention the name of the Organization. If you know me you will know that as well.

You decide the topic

I didn't think to write.. I didn't want to waste your time.. I didn't want to waste my time neither. But i am helpless. Im wasting my time to waste your time. Now i am not writing this with the intention to waste your time. No No. "Now" you are reading by wasting your time, I am not writing. Which is true? I know I'm writing is true because right now I'm writing. Only because I'm writing now, you can read it. So you agree that I'm telling the truth? If so aren't you reading now? If you are true then i am false. And if i am true. You are false.

True or False is not the topic of this article. The title is "You decide the topic". So how will you arrive at the topic? We water the plant regularly, if we don't, it dies. But we don't water the fish instead we feed them. Different beings need different types of food to live healthy. For my blog the feed is my article, for me its writing and for you its reading my blog.

Read and feed your brain!

You can decide the topic and suggest on the comment. The best suitable title will not be rewarded instead considered for next title as a token of wasting time.

The Unknown Legends

Usually when I start writing any piece of blog, I start with things which are irrelevant to the subject. This time I am not going to divert you because I am going to write something serious and important. Mmmmm wait, Let me be myself. Because, anything serious conveyed seriously won't reach the targeted audience effectively. So I have to take this route of conveying indirectly.

Think about any personality whom you like or follow. I am sure you will not think about the one whom I am writing about. Have a list of best personalities may be 5 or 10, still you won't think of the one in our subject. When we think of personalities, we think about celebrities, cricketers, speakers, authors, etc. But I am sure, this type of person would have made a difference in your life, yet we don't remember them.

The world has recognized the best singers, best authors, best speakers, and best in all kind of arts but failed to recognize the one who is more important than all these personalities. Take a moment to think about those personalities who influenced your life positively.

Humans are meant to face both ups and downs. When we are happy we talk, we express, and we enjoy the moment.  But when we are down, usually we won't express at least to those it doesn't matter. Yet we wish to express it indirectly to the one whom we trust and love. We expect them to understand us. And we want them to listen to us.

Have you come across anyone, with whom you share your downs and when they listen, you feel light? I'm sure it’s an YES. You don't need advice but just a listening heart.

Listening is a skill. It can be developed but it should come from the heart.

We come across the term communication very often. He doesn't know how to communicate. His communication skill is poor. He is bad at communication. When we say this, are we right? Here we mean only the words. Communication is not just the words which we speak or write. It’s more about Non verbal and Listening. We tend to forget the most important part of it. I am not a good speaker, but a good listener. If you feel so, next time when someone comments you, your communication is not good, give him back. [But it’s always good to improve the speaking and writing skills] okay let’s not talk management. Let’s be practical.

Have you thanked someone who has been a good listener to you? Have you listened to someone who is in need? Some of us might have come across or heard from others, had I been there to just listen to his words, by this time he will be with us. Many lives are lost because they feel there is no one to listen to them. Listening is more powerful than speaking or writing. Speaking or writing can change the life of many but listening can save one's life.

Be a good listener. Listen by your heart. It won't take a much deal to be a good listener. But it brings a lot of difference. You won't be popular being a good listener. You won't influence hundreds of people but you can be a life saver.

This piece of post is dedicated to all "The Unknown Legends" who listened to others when needed. This is for you too, because by reading this, you are listening to me, to my heart what I am saying.

Keep Listening!!!

New Year - Let the celebrations begin!

Wish You a Happy New Year!

Most of us wish others a happy new year. But sometimes a weird question arises out of me. Why do we celebrate it? May be the FIRST day of the year. But how do you know this is the first day? Any day is a new day. Someone has named it January. And we are following it world-wide. Is this thought really required when the whole world is busy celebrating the new year?

Find a reason to celebrate. Celebrate without thinking. Live the moment.  I wish you stop reading this now and celebrate. May be you can celebrate reading this, like how I celebrated writing this post. I just said "Find a reason to celebrate". Now I realize, you need not have a reason to celebrate. Just celebrate. Celebrate anything and everything.

Have you ever noticed,  though you are not so happy some celebration forces you to forget your worries. When something is by force it won't last long. Celebration pushes you to be happy.  It's not permanent. Who in this world can claim permanent happiness? No one. If so why should we aim for it? Let's accept the forced happiness created by the Celebration. But don't forget to celebrate often. Most importantly, don't celebrate alone. Push others to celebrate, push them to be happy.

Sometimes forcing is good.

Enough celebrating this piece of read. Celebrate the world now. Let the celebrations begin.

Love Yourself

Its almost 25 yrs now (don't calculate my age) I still haven't found the answer. If you ask me what's the question,  you gonna stare at me. "Who am I?" is the question. Many of us have this question in mind. Not sure if you have the answer. But let's discuss about it later.

Let's not be philosophical, instead talk something physical. Obviously related to the topic. LOVE YOURSELF. When I say love yourself, its more important to love your life partner. Only then you can succeed. Without a healthy life partner, you cannot lead a happy life. I can read your mind, no no no, I didnt mean that. I mean the real life partner. The one who is with you from your birth till your death. None other than your body. Yes, your body is your life partner. Love your body.

I am not talking about what I read but what I experienced. Being healthy is more important in life.  Being fit is more important to be healthy.  Being fit and being healthy are two different things.  People tend to confuse.  But both go hand in hand.

One size doesn't fit all when it comes to fitness. Each one has to follow their own fitness mantra. But focusing on being fit brings miracle in your life. There is nothing called tomorrow in fitness. And there is no comparison to the past. Bring the element of past and future only if it motivates you.

Those who think its too late, I am already out of my shape, I have gained lot of weight, I have tried but its not working, these are all excuses. Nothing is late to be fit. Start slow but start now. The problem is NOW doesn't come today for many of us, who end up waiting for tomorrow which never comes. But after some or few workouts, we call it off saying there is no progress. There we expect magic to happen NOW. Years of assault and humiliation to your own body but expecting it to react in favor immediately is not fair. Give little more time. It will surely respond. Even Rome wasn't built in a single day. Its just stone and architecture. Thousands of architects worked on on it in a single day. But you are the only architect who can work on you. No one else can. So shape yourself.

I have come across two types of people. One who says I am tired,  I can't do workout I will get more tired.  Another who says I am tired,  I want to do workout so that I will be fresh.  If you fall under second set don't read till the end of this paragraph. This is only to the first set of people, don't skip workout even for a single day. Trust me,  even if you are tired,  do little. You will definitely feel fresh.  Try it. And you can skip the next paragraph.

This is only for the second set of people. When you have a tiring day, its not wrong to have a cheat day. Give some breathing time for your body to heal and rejuvenate. You won't miss anything but gain more energy for the next day.

Let me share with you tips which helps you being consistent and keep going. Share your goal with your friends. Some may tease you in the beginning, nothing bad, they are friends. But few days later when your change is visible they start admiring at you. They praise you. Afterall we all are human, we would like to be praised. Have a "No matter what list" with you.  Make fitness a point in that. Follow it religiously. Also if you have a workout partner that's the best you get in fitness. A partner will never let you down. There will always be a little more push, when you workout with your partner. If you can't find a partner, see yourself in the mirror and have yourself as your partner. Self motivation is the best motivation. You are a champ. You don't need anyone else to motivate you. See the mirror. See your changes. You will definitely get motivated. I bet you. You will love yourself.

I am happy, since you have read this. I will be even more happy if you start your fitness journey today.

Happy Reading!!!

Independence

Today 15th August, being the Independence day of our Country let's celebrate our independence day with proud, happiness and salute our patriots who fought for our freedom. Our country got freedom and declared as independent in 1947. But are we?

To get the answer, let's think about us for a minute. You may have a question.. Think what? You are right.. what should we think now to get the answer.. Each one of us will have a different perspective of independence. For some of us, independence is free from pain. Again pain of what? Physical pain or mental pain or emotional pain? For few others, independence is free from financial rat race. For some, independence is not dependent on anyone. But the most important independence is freedom of thoughts.

Who is responsible for our thoughts? I'm not gonna tell it's only us. Our thoughts are influenced by many external factors. Our parents, our friends, our pets, our present situation, past, etc etc. All these influences our thoughts but it's only one person who owns it and responsibile for it. Yes..it's you. Though we are responsible for our thoughts, we block it inside. Those who break it become innovators. We all have an innovator inside. But the Terminator kills that innovator for us most of the time. It's we who don't allow our innovator to think beyond. We don't give freedom to our thoughts. Let's relase the innovator and give independence to ourselves.

Happy Independence day!!!

Sharing my Happiness

Sharing is always good. It's even more good if it's happiness. Yes sharing happiness is the best thing which you can share. When you share something, it never gets little. When you share your food, the portion of your food might reduce but sharing increases your happiness, it doubles your purpose of life, it increases your sense of responsibility, overall it increases your value.

Now I'm sharing my happiness of clearing an exam, which I consider to be an achievement. Rather than achievement it's a sense of feeling proud. Doing "something" at difficult times when you can't is far better than "something great" at normal time. When you undergo difficult times and do something, you will realise it later as an achievement.

Here is an achievement of passing an exam. Passing an exam itself is difficult for an average student. Studying in difficult situation and clearing the exam is even more difficult.

Though the exam was written by one hand, so many hands supported me in writing the exam. Not only hands so many good hearts made me clear the exam. A simple way of telling thanks wouldn't be sufficient for them, so here is my way of thanking them.
What's that way? You are already on that way. Yes! Thanking by the way of this post to those who helped me clearing my exam.I didn't mention your name because you know, you have helped me either directly or indirectly. Hereby sharing my happiness to you and to this small world.

I know this may not make you happy but I have shared my happiness and increased my sense of responsibility :)

Now share this with your friends and make them happy :)

Waiting

Let me start with a disclaimer. If you don’t believe in life which any non living beings have, then you will not be able to follow this piece of blog. Its better you stay aware while you read through. For those who believe in the life of non living being, you will love it.

Let’s jump into the subject with a question. Do you like waiting? Yeah it depends on what or whom we are waiting for. Sometimes yes and sometimes it’s a No, depending on how important it is for us.  But my answer is always a big “NO”. I don’t like waiting but that doesn’t mean I don’t wait. I wait, yes, I also do things which I don’t like. I wait for things which are not under our control.

When I wait, I wait without patience. When we don’t like something, is it fair when we do the same to someone else? Is that right or wrong? Need not be wrong always. I don’t like Biriyani (Though it’s not true). But my friend who likes Biriyani, I can order Biriyani for him. So its not wrong. But its important to understand liking of others before we do it.

This blog is mine and so it reflects my likes and dislikes. When I don’t like to wait, obviously, my blog also wouldn’t like to wait. But its waiting. Waiting for whom? Waiting for the one who owns it, none other than me, who made it wait. For what? To make it happy by fulfilling its desire of making others happy by reading it. So I am here drafting the content thereby making it happy.

Now when we talk about happiness, let’s see if there is any correlation between happiness and waiting? Of course, its positively correlated to some of us, who say happy waiting for the day / happy waiting for you. If waiting is worth its time, it gives happiness. So there is link between happiness and time? The more time you wait, the happier you are? Or is it the other way round? Think!!! Let’s think with an example. We are waiting in the railway station, not for the train but for a friend who comes by train. There is an announcement that the train is delayed by half an hour. Will you be happy hearing that announcement? Won’t we get upset? Though waiting for friend is worth and happy, the impatience brings unhappiness.

Waiting can of course be seen positive, when we say waiting for the right time!!! In such case, are we in the wrong time? Should we wait for the right time or make things right?

So waiting can be good or bad depending on the situation. Let me not wait for the right time to publish this piece of blog, because the right time is right here.

Let’s not wait!!!

Happy Reading!!!

Look at the larger screen

I am sure you will agree with me on the statement, “He is always on phone”.  Either someone would have commented about you or you might have commented about someone else. It's common nowadays to come across this statement. In my case, I was told directly that I am always on phone.

Very true, I rather we, let me take the liberty of including you to be my partner in crime (Using phone always). If you are not eligible to be my partner, then this piece of blog is not for you. You can carry on with your work, but don’t look into the mobile now. Others, my partners, you can continue reading this. Yes this is for you.

Mobile has become a part of our body. Like our hands, legs. Why do we carry our mobile everywhere? Is it so important? The reason we might quote is "we might get important call". Every time? Is that true? Aren’t we deceiving ourselves? But why do we do that? What are we fiddling with our mobile every time? We unlock and check if we have received any messages once a while. May be hundreds of time in a day. Even more than that. (300+ times in my case)

There may be many reasons why we use mobile often. It could be to chat, play games, check social media, read news, talk, etc.

The base for this addiction towards mobile started  long back with me through Orkut. Not sure how many of you have actually heard of Orkut. A social media which was trending in 2005. Most of the 80’s kid will be knowing. Kids!!! I will call them kids since I am one among them and yes we are still kids. Increasing the count in the scrapbook was an achievement. There is no limit of the atrocities we had. We will be in the same room in the hostel yet we communicate through scrapbook of Orkut. “Machi lets go to Mess for dinner”.  Reminds me of my hostel days.

Then came the facebook. Achievement is based on the number of likes you receive. Don't you agree, we choose the best possible photograph to get the most number of likes. We fail to look at others how they are in the picture. Tag friends so that his or her friend will also likes the photo and increase the number of likes. My friend from next room shouted “Machi give one like, it will turn to 100”.

And now its Instagram. Again likes and comments. Oh yes!!! The hashtags. More the hashtags more the reach.

Whatsapp has become one of the major source of communication. Both officially as well as personal communication. It has made our life at ease, no doubt.  But it has also taken most of our time. Aren't we spending most of our time checking WhatsApp message and replying immediately! And status which we keep and looking back at who has viewed our status is a trending addiction now.

Some of us spend our time in Games either in mobile or in system. I am one of those who was addicted to Counter Strike, AOE, Clash of Clans, etc. Later somehow this addiction has changed. Recently I happened to play Ludo which easily took more than 3 hours for a game. Before I get addicted, I uninstalled. There are hundreds of such games which kills our time.

Let’s come back to the title, “Look at the larger screen”. It doesn’t mean avoiding only mobile but also Ipad or Laptop. Let's take time to look into the larger screen, “The world”. There are much more things in the world which you cannot find in the smaller screen. The reality. What we look into the mobile or internet is virtual. No doubt it helps us to gain knowledge easily but what’s the purpose of gaining knowledge if we don’t use it. There are certain important things in this world which doesn’t require knowledge. The hard truth is "Everyone expects it from others but not everyone gives it back". Its not that you don’t have but we have reasons. It’s the "Human Touch".

Looking into the smaller screen makes us blind. We become insensitive to what’s happening around. We fail to see what our closed ones need. It’s not always the materialistic thing which fulfills the need of your loved ones but is your time. Our usual excuse is, sorry what can I do!!! I don’t have enough time. Really? Have you ever noticed how much time are we spending on the little devices which kills away our time? Try installing some app which can track your mobile usage time. You will be surprised. Just give a try and  track.

Spend those valuable time with your near and dear ones. You can try new things, you don’t know to cook? Still you can give a try. They will be surprised and happy when you cook. Give a try. Not necessarily cooking, you can help your parents / spouse in the household. Spend time with your kid, the most important thing. Kid doesn’t know to express but it matters a lot. You can spend time for yourself. Do what you always wanted to do but didn’t do because you didn’t have time. Read, Write, Paint, Join a course, anything which you couldn’t.

All these are not specific to our generation. It has equally affected the older generation as well as the future generation. Kids imitate us. We happily comment, “See how much talented the kid is”, she is able to unlock the mobile and using it”. Are we doing good to the kids? How many of us were wearing Specs at the age of 5? But now? Aren’t we the reason for their eye sight? How can the kid be responsible for it. Let me repeat, “Kids imitate us”. So let’s be careful looking into the smaller screen.

What next? Let's not miss what we were missing. Don’t miss it anymore. Don’t blame the time. It’s all yours and you can decide how you want to spend.

Just because I am writing about it doesn’t mean I have changed. This content is a proof that I haven’t changed completely. Even now I am writing in the smaller screen but I didn’t fail to look into the larger screen. Sometimes you need to look both the screens. Being my Crime partner you are also looking into the smaller screen. Yes you are and I made you to look into it. Now you can go ahead looking into the beauty of the larger screen. Much more than what you have thought of!!!

Worth looking into it!!

Happy Reading!!!

Diving deep into yourself

Though it's not been so long that I have written a blog, it's been long for this title to see the content. Yes I started this title long back, 5 months before but didn't write. Good or bad, for this post but there were some understanding in these 5 months which might add value to the content of this post.
I thought I should directly dive deep into myself and write the post but already I have been diverted from the topic. Diversion is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Here Good and Bad are opposite to each other but it also complements each other. But when? Sometimes. Both does it in sometimes. So sometimes is a common time where good and bad meets each other together. As you know sometime can be anytime. There cannot be a clearly defined sometime. But we are not here to define sometime or about good or bad. But about something else.

I got diverted while diving. Diving into myself. To understand my personality. Who am I? What kind of personality I'm?  Extrovert or introvert. Thanks to diversion, though it diverted me away from topic initially, it again diverted me back to the topic. It did both good and bad. Let me not get diverted once more.

Coming back to the personality, when I consider myself, what I am if I'm an introvert or an extrovert. Before diving deep into my useless thoughts, what's introvert? What's extrovert?
Though there are hell lot of definitions available, my understanding about introvert and extrovert is, introvert is someone who is calm, talks less with unknown people, feels shy in public, enjoys being alone and has a smaller circle of friends. Extrovert is someone who is talkative, likes to be in limelight always, easily sociable and has a lot of friends. It's been few months since I wrote and so the flow of words is not there. I'm speaking to myself being an introvert, but I'm writing it out to the public because of the extrovert in me. One more step of diving deeper, to understand friends circle which I referred. Though introvert has few friends they maintain a close relationship and the trust level among them will be high. They seek advise from friends when needed and they express their feelings only to their friends. Contrarily extroverts doesn't show their true feelings to their friends and rarely they take advise from them. But every human has both introvert and extrovert in him. It's the situation, the family background, environment he or she is grown that makes him express his personality. Certain people are on the extremes. They exhibit only one personality, whereas some are in between, who are ambiverts. OMG I sound more theoritical. Even i don't like to read these. But you are still reading it. What kind of personality will read all these?  It's my understanding. Your understanding may differ and there is nothing right or wrong. Someone defined those personality and we are following it. Why don't we have our own understanding as our definition!!!

Being an ambivert, has both positive and negative effects. Ambivert is flexible and adjusts according to the situation, but lots of confused thoughts runs behind the mind. Ambivert is more stressed than others. Mood swings are common with ambiverts. When we talk about mood swing, it travels across the extremes in no matter of time. I somewhere learnt that locus of control for introvert is internal and that of extrovert is external then for ambivert will be inside out??? I don't know, you need to find it out.

I am Just thinking if I had a deep dive into myself? Question arises,  What's the depth? if this is the depth I know about myself? It looks shallow. May be i might have dived deep but while coming back I dropped things which I can't share with others and bring only those positives about me to the light. Because I'm an AMBIVERT.

Now it's time for you to dive.
Happy reading!!!

Queen of Island! Visit Thailand

An unplanned trip yet a perfect trip. We were two friends planned to visit Leh Ladakh but ended up visiting Thailand. The unfortunate reason being the Pulwama attack that happened two months before pushed us to Thailand.
The only plan which we have made is the date everything else was unplanned. Yeah we booked the hotels too. It was 7days 6 nights trip. It was a budget trip covering three awesome places of Thailand; Pattaya, Phuket and Krabi which costed us around 45,000 INR including International and Domestic Flight tickets, Hotel reservation, Local transport, sightseeing tickets and food.

Day 0: As usual in any trip, it started with a tragedy. Being happy go easy guys we didn't want to wait in the airport for 3 hrs so we booked a fast track cab from home to Chennai airport so that we reach airport just 2 hrs in advance. But the fast track driver didn't turn up. It was getting late and we were discussing about what if we miss the flight. Any plan B would be possible at that time? Or we cancel the entire trip. To our luck we took an auto who rushed to the airport and dropped us on time. Meanwhile I was worried about my pink eye (conjective eye) if they allow me in immigration.

Day 1: We reached Bangkok airport (DMK- Don Mueang International Airport) at 3 am. We didn't book to Swarnaboomi airport which will usually be costly. We cleared the immigration in counter no 4 (on arrival E-Visa) next to Chinese immigration. Hardly it took 15 mins for us to clear the immigration. We went to the information centre to ask how to reach Pattaya. It was through bus we enquired. We also checked other options to reach Pattaya. By cab too costly costing around 1500 baht(2.2 times INR). But we opted for Bus. To take the bus to Pattaya we need to go to Bangkok bus terminal. From airport we took bus A1 from exit no 6 or12. Ticket from airport to Bangkok bus terminal is 30Baht. Don't get down in morchit bus stop where most of the crowd gets down. It took around 20 mins to reach the bus terminal. Book the ticket to Pattaya in the counter. It was 128baht and will take 2.5 hrs. Since the hotel check in was at 2, but we reached Pattaya at around 9.30 , we went to sanctuary of Truth. We experienced triples in bike. The pick-up bike they charged 50 baht each but took us in the same bike. Sanctuary of Truth had an entry fee of 500 baht per person which was a basic one just to see the monument. The whole monument is crafted by wood. There are various other tickets which include horse ride, elephant ride, long tail boat, speed boat ride which can add up the cost to 2000 baht. But it's better to check in Klook app which had many offers. After exploring, we headed to hotel Gazebo via bike. Though it was an hour prior to the check-in time, they welcomed us with smile and handed over the key without any question. The hotel was booked at a reasonable price through "Myyatra". Thanks to Ms Prathiba and Ms Bhakti for supporting for our bookings and assisting us on the places to visit.
We had tender coconut for refreshment which costed us around 40 60 baht except in airport which was 120 baht. And I must mention about the mart 7-11 which contributed a major part to keep our trip within budget. We visited big Buddha of Pattaya through bike with 70 baht each, then we strolled in the beach from where we headed to the most happening place of Thailand, nothing but The Walking Street. Though the street was full of music, entertainment, bars and clubs, we were attracted by the word "Insomnia". Yes we had insomnia on that day. We didn't thought of sleep. Spent around 3 hrs and headed back to the hotel by which our day 2 started.

Day 2: The day was a planned one day trip for which we have booked the ticket on day 1 which costed us 1000bhat per person. It was a trip to island covering few water sports as well. We didn't opt for any water sports but snorkelling was part of the package. You can opt for parasailing, underwater walking, water bike with few hunderd bhat extra. (Not so worth, because of the rush you won't enjoy here). They drop you in an island called Ko larn. The view will be awesome only if you can withstand the heat (Summer). They provide you chair where you can sit but they also have shacks for which you need to pay 100bhat per hour which is expensive. Lunch was included in the package and we opted for Indian food. With not much of expectations we went for dining. To our surprise the food was delicious. The best part of this day is snorkelling which fulfilled the day. Was able to see the different world which is always active under the sea. Around 2 hours we spent in snorkelling and was back.

Day 3: Travel to Phuket. We took a share auto for 40 rupees each to bus terminal from the hotel. We were little late and missed the bus which we were supposed to take so that we reach little ahead of the flight timing and board hassle free. It was 128 bhat per person from Pattaya to Bangkok and every 45 mins there is a bus. By the time we reached bangkok bus terminal, we were late for the flight so we ran outside the terminal to take a cab. We ended up paying 250 bhat and reached the domestic airport. Somehow we boarded the flight and reached Phuket. In Phuket, Patong is the place where we had our hotel booking. So we took a shared cab to patong such was 180bhat each. Though we didn't had any proper food the whole day, a tender coconut (50bhat) made us alive and active. We stayed in Bel Aire, which was a nice hotel with basic amenities except the swimming pool. Though the hotel have mentioned that they have a swimming pool, it was just a jacuzzi bath tub. The hotel was located in the main Street and easy access to the beach and walking Street of Phuket "Bangala". Though our day was fully occupied with travel, we planned for the next day trip by booking the one day island trip package@ 1300 bhat. Yes it's to the James Bond island. We tried the street foods over there and it was hygienic and yummy. Filling our stomach we went to bed.

Day4: The day started in the morning around 7.30. A Van came to pick up us  from the hotel. We were served with coffee and cookies before we board the boat. It was slightly drizzling and so we bought a pouch for our mobile at 100 bhat. The speed boats were parked at around 500 mts inside the sea and there was a bridge from the shore towards it for which they were plying shuttle service which cost 25bhat and is a mandatory one to get in there. The speed boat is really a speed one. The organizer was very friendly and funny. This one day trip is worth spending time and money. At first we went to a limestone cave inside the sea, then went for kayaking for about an hour which was behind the James bond rock 2. Then we were dropped in the James bond island (named because a James bond movie 'man with iron hand' was filmed here). Then we were taken for lunch to a floating market. The entire village was built inside the sea. Though this village is inbetween the sea it's protected by mountains in all the sides and so it's never affected by Tsunami. Then we went to a crystal clear beach where we spent around 2 hours swimming peacefully in the sea. No wonder the sea or the beach is so neat, it by the individuals responsibility. No one thrown even a small piece of paper or waste in the sea. Even after serving us snacks, fruits and juice throughout the day in the boat, it was maintained clean. The one day island trip was worth its cost. Though we were tired, we explored few shops nearby the beach and planned for the next day. We booked a half day city tour in patong which costed us 300bhat per person. Then we just spent some time in the beach before we doze off.

Day5: Though it was a short day we had time to take rest in the morning since we booked the city tour in the noon. After having brunch we boarded the cab around 1 pm. We went to a small hill top where we fed a small baby elephant with fruits, then to the big Buddha temple. The Buddha statue was too tall, taller than a a four storied building, which is at the top of the hill. Then we went to honey bee farm, cashew shopping followed by Gems, a precious stone jewel manufacturing company. The one day city tour ended with the sunset view point at Karon but before that few minutes in the breathtaking Promthep Cape view point was a fabulous time. Promthep Cape is a cliff which extends inside the sea and from there you can see only the sea. I just loved that view. We were dropped back in the hotel around 7 pm and then we went for few shopping and also to book the transport from Phuket to Krabi. We had two options to commute, one is by waterways and the other is by road. The price were more or less the same. We booked the mini-bus for 370 bhat each. Had few street foods as our dinner near by our hotel, especially the noodles and the fried rice was really yummy. It was around 10'Oclock we went to the walking Street of Phuket, The Bangala Road. Though this walking Street was not as big as that one in the Pattaya, we had an amazing time over there. One of the world's top 100 club "The illusion". I have never seen such a combination of lights, sound and screen. The ambiance was perfectly designed. We were illusionized for 4hrs and came back to hotel. Will not forget, they had a frisking before we enter into illusion. Still wondering why they asked me to put the water bottle in the trash though after the frisking, they asked us to deposit our bag in the locker. Except that it was an awesome experience.

Day6: Started around 7 in the morning through mini-bus to Krabi without having any food. We reached Aonang, a place in Krabi around 12pm. We booked our room in Ao Bang Baan suan resort which is around 2kms away from main road. We were worried how to commute back to the beach. The moment we went to the resort, we were happy to see the free shuttle service that runs between resort and the beach. In no time we got ready and took the shuttle to beach because we were too hungry. We picked some pizza and moved to the Ao Nang beach. I was mesmerized with the view of the beach. I have seen such beach only in the wall papers. Excited to go inside, we also enquired about the Railey beach which can only be accessed through boat. The boat to Railey beach was run by government and it costed 200bhat each. It was by a long tail motor boat carrying 7 people, we moved to the Railey beach. No words can explain the beauty of the beach. Cameras can only capture the view but not the feel. "Krabi" a must visit destination. In the Railey beach, we found people doing Kayaking. We have experienced kayaking but not did on our own. We were just sitting and relaxing in the kayaking boat during the James Bond island tour. But here people were on their own with these small kayaking boat sailing in the sea. Without hesitation we approached the shop which was renting kayaking boat. To our surprise, it was only 200 bhat for 2 hrs. We hired a boat went into the sea with no second thought keeping our mobiles and luggage inside the leather bag which can be locked with the boat. The best part of the entire trip was those 2 hours. With no man's support we explored the sea, went to nearby cave temple "Phra Nang Cave Shrine". We also tried to sail through a cave but the waves didn't allow us to do that. After two hrs of kayaking we took few snaps and went back to the Aonang beach by the last long tail boat. Had dinner and booked the share van to Krabi airport for the next day. Then we called the shuttle to drop us in the hotel.

Day7: We started around 10am from the hotel, took the share van which we booked and reached Krabi airport from where we had the flight to Don Mueang International Airport. Since we had around 2 hrs we went to the nearby local market "Chatchuk". And spending 2hrs inside the airport, we took the flight to Chennai and reached at 9.30 pm. It was a travel day.  The whole trip was awesome with no plans in place, we enjoyed the way it went. The sync between you and your travel partner is more important and that makes the trip successful. (I measure success in terms of happiness).

Few tips in short for budget trip:
1. Check for the cheapest flight by altering the nearby airport( Don Mueang International Airport instead of Swarnaboomi airport, 20 mins away)
2. Never use Grab app (like uber/ola) Go with pick-up bike or Auto. U can find them in every corner.
3. For long distance, take government run buses
4. Bargain as much as possible. Start with atleast 50% of what they quote. In bike ride or cab booking or day trips. Most of the time it works.
5. Don't miss to visit Krabi.
6. Look for hotels near the beach
7. Check the price in Klook app. Pay in Indian Rupee. (Cheaper than paying there directly).
8. In airport, choose 7/11 stores for food.

Enjoy your trip.

A short trip to foreign within India

We were a group of 7 who wanted to explore the real taste of westernised India. To give a brief about the 7, I will name them as ABCXYZ and me. X is a friend of mine. CXYZ are colleagues. A is a relative of C. A and B are close friends. C is the care taker of A and B, since they both are kids. Z is also a kid who has given the number of XY to contact in case of any emergency.
Bulb1:
The trip started with 4 of us, me XYZ, because at 12am C informed X that ABC are out of the trip. We tried seriously with heart and soul to cancel the hotel booking at 3 am in the morning in the airport. No wonder no one picked up the call.

Bulb 2:
With serious discussion on table about the accommodation we had a costly coffee of 400 rupees which made us forget that we were late to board the flight. By the time we realised, we heard the final call. Before we reached the gate the boarding was already closed. Z approached the crew but she denied the proposal. XY somehow convinced the crew and boarded the flight. To our surprise ABC were in the flight. No more confusions through alphabets because we all met in the Goa arrival and till we reach back to Chennai we were together in all ups and downs..

Bulb 3:
We were not aware that a shock was eagerly waiting for us in Goa. We booked prepaid airport taxi for 1100 and reached the accommodation which was supposed to be 3 mins walk from the breath-taking beach but we found that the information given by the agent was not even nearer to the reality. It's 7 kms from the beach. OMG. Still we checked in the same hotel with the hope that we will save atleast the initial payment. But they treated us like unwelcomed guest. We walked away from the hotel in search of accommodation near the beach. We used technology to book the hotel through OYO. But still we had a doubt what if that hotel is also not good. So we decided to go there directly and make the payment. To go there, but how!!!

Bulb 4:
We were 7 so we needed a 7 seater. Ertiga or Innova or a Jeep would do. We went during off season so price should be little lesser than the usual. But seeing our face, they quoted us 1000 rupees more than the usual. We told we are only 5 of us, meanwhile we asked those two kids to walk a few metres away from us. We negotiated for swift instead of Jeep to our affordable reasonable price, but then he made another check that we can hire only if it's for a min of 2 days. Again renegotiated for a day with little high price than initially agreed charge. We moved towards Calangute where we booked the Oyo hotel.

Bulb 5:
Again there was a shock. The hotel which we blocked through OYO didn't have a parking. Tried to park nearby but it took more than half an hour for me to understand that it's impossible to park over there. Without informing others few of us went in search of other accommodation. We ended up landing in a hotel named Sea Breeze Inn.

You may be wondering, if we enjoyed the trip or we finished our trip with all these shocks. All these difficulties happened within a short span.. precisely half day. All these flips brought us together. Though we didn't know each other well, we all supported each other's decision and stood by it. The real fun started from there.

Casino Royale:
Our actual trip started in the evening when we rushed towards the ship "Casino Pride". Convinced the Urrr faced receptionist for offer, but we didn't have original id proof. Though she initially didn't accept the scanned copy of the ID proof, taking a photo of the image in the camera sorted the issue. She never knew that solving  problems are cake walk for us!!! Entered the casino but to do what? When everyone was busy gambling, we went to the top of the casino pride ship to do what we were good at. Of course! It's the buffet dinner. Filling the stomach, we went back to the gambling hall to check what's happening around. Though we don't know to play we wanted to test our luck. I'm sure no team would have a hat-trick win in that game. But we did. The way we charmed ourselves, made the entire floor to turn towards us. It was 12 am we reached the hotel. The day ended but we didn't want to end our day so we all walked towards the beach. Gazing at the waves, we forgot ourselves. And decided to move back to the room to welcome day 2. Forgot to mention the chat we had while strolling towards the beach. Finally we had to "leave the moment".

Beach & Fort:
Second day started with lunch @ a cafe which was just 5kms away. But we travelled for 2 hrs. It was just 15mins but felt like 2hrs, because we were sitting inside the hot box "Ertiga". I focused on making it cool but managed to bring down few degrees. Went to Chapora fort and had special Goan style noodles, "Maggie without water" sold by a marketing lady. Uak. With Hot water, sorry sweet hot water sold as Tea!!! We didn't have music system in the car but we didn't miss hearing songs sung by a male koel. Still there was a complaint about the husky voice.

Titto's Lane:
Refreshed and dressed up for party, we went towards titto's lane. But ended up in the beach for dinner. Through Raju, we had some discount for foods and drinks but the fun part is each one sharing about others. Expressions & the comments. After a good laugh we reached room for the second innings of laughter therapy. It went on till 4am in the morning since there was no one to tell story and make someone sleep.lol

Water Games:
Plan is to go for scuba, and do all the water sports. But the day as usual started at 12 in the noon. Went to a local market for purchase from there we headed to Arambol, one of the best beachs in Goa but we landed in Morjim. With all confusions in mind either to be in Morjim or move to vagator beach we spent around 5 hrs in Morjim. Ordered one pasta and 5 hands in one plate. It was with the help of one of our friend in Goa, two of us were able to do the water sports. Watching the sunset in vagator beach, we moved to Calangute for shopping and tattoos. It was at 12 we reached back room from shopping and no one slept except me for the next day's early morning flight.

Final bulb:
Even after the trip, the bulb didn't stop. It was waiting where it started. Yes in Chennai airport. It arrived in the baggage.
Baggage!!! Yes, it's really not important to know what was inside the baggage, but our hearts were filled with joy and sweet memories.

Happy reading!!!

The Hard Truth of Life

No matter how hard you try to make someone happy, you will never succeed. Try to make yourself happy, that's the only possibility.

You may sacrifice doing things which you don't like, for someone whom you like. Is it the real you? You are faking. You want to be loved? The real you or the fake you? When you do things you don't like you are exposing the fake you to the one whom you like. They tend to like the fake you, not the real you. When you become real, they hate you.

Don't expect others to understand you when they know only the fake you. It's not their mistake. They can understand only the fake you. Because they only know the fake you. When you are upset or nervous or in pain, the real you unveils. It's new to those whose are used to see the fake you. They never know you and you can't expect someone to understand a stranger. These two souls were never connected. They don't know each other. So misunderstanding is obvious. Accept the misunderstanding because it's your mistake.

Can you make yourself happy? Yes? Always? No not always.. then how can you try to make others happy always? Making others happy is a good thing to do. But are you happy to make others happy? You can share only what you have. You can't when you don't have. When you are not knowledgeable on a subject, you can't take a knowledge sharing session. When you don't have money, you can't share money. When you are suffering from hunger, you can't share food. When you are not happy, you can't share happiness and make others happy. If you still do, it's faking yourself. Faking someone. First make yourself happy, then try making others happy.

Hard Truth!!!

For those who think you cant!!!

For those who think you can't run!!!

Running is not about physical strength, its all about mind. Especially the long run.
"The Body achieves, what the mind believes"
Start your run today. Yes now. Think that you are running. Start your run in your mind. Start visualizing that you are crossing the miles stones one by one. Visualize from the Start. Feel the pleasure of completing each miles stone. Visualize till the finish line. No negative thoughts. Run your mind through the track. Your mind should complete the run first for you to begin the run. You are half way through.
Now get physically ready for the race. Race!!! Yes it is. Its the race between your mind, body and heart. At some point in time during the run, your body says i cant, your mind slides towards your body but your heart wishes to complete the run. Chase your body with your mind and follow the heart. You will be on the finish line.

Things to do before Race: [Only based on my experience]

If your run is in the early morning,

  • Don't have a heavy dinner.
  • Take rest, but don't be lazy
  • Cut the nails in the toe if any
  • Run as much times as you can, not physically but in your mind
  • Take a deep sleep
  • Hydrate as much as possible in the night before bed
  • A lite meal / a piece of bread / an apple 2 hrs before the run
  • Use the washroom before the start
  • A must warm-up before start.
While Running:

  • Hydrate when needed, have little water, probably a 50 ml would do
  • Keep counting, how much more to run not how much you have completed. eg) If you are running a 5k, once you complete 1 km keep moving thinking only 4 more to go.
  • Try to keep your run in a same pace
  • If you feel panting [out of breath], start watching your breath which helps you to keep your breath in control.
  • One more way to forget the distance is to watch the steps of the one who is running in front of you and follow it.
  • Never stop even if you cant keep moving forward, Just jog
  • Even if you are the last person running, you are not the last. There are millions of people who are not running. You are far better than them.
  • Complete the run, Don't forget to take a snap to cherish the moment later.
Run your own Race.
Keep Running!!! Keep Smiling!!!

"Good or Bad" its how you see this world

The way we see this world.
Someone may be good for you, the same person might be bad for someone else.
Can there be someone in this world who is bad for everyone?
Impossible.. irrespective of what he does, good or bad. He might be a good person for someone.
The best example would Robin Hood. Why should we think of Bollywood!!! Sorry other country nationals, we are familiar with the name Mr Veerappan. Bad for the entire nation except the locals who lived in and around his boundary.

Take a minute to think of someone whom you don't like. Also think why you don't like.
You don't like because he is bad? Or you don't like because he does what you don't like?
Your answer would be 'yes' for the later.

Now think if you are doing those so called don't likes of yours? There will be few or handful of those which we do more often but we ignore or justify with some valid reason which will be valid only for us.

Are you a good person to everyone? You may think yes, but you can never be.. Are you doing bad things? Of course your answer will be a big NO.

There is something ambiguous. You have to really think about it. Question it yourself. Need not change, but be aware. Being aware of oneself is more important than changing just by following someone.

Everyone is neither good nor bad. Then, who are we? good or bad?
It's all about how you are seen. THE WAY WE SEE THIS WORLD. LET THEM SEE!!!

A 10 hours driving - a new learning

It is a dream for most of the typical Indian middle class family to own a car. No matter it's a sedan or a hatchback, new or old, black or white, it's a car.
I'm not an exception. Yet I was not excited due to various reasons while owning a car.
Long Drive- it's the new trend. I wanted to experience it but with my family. Plan was set. A long drive, more than 500kms.
Haven't experienced a long drive on my own before. So thinking as if im smart I made a plan. Totally 540 kms, by any chance I can drive at a speed of 100kms/hr if so I can cover within 6 hrs.

But the reality was different. My calculations went wrong. Driving is not so easy. You can't calculate and drive until and unless you are ready to take risk.
Risk is risking the life, not only yours but also the others who are with you trusting you that you will drive safe.
Had to drive slow,to reach safe.

Finally a happy safe drive makes a happy journey!!

Challenge is not doing what you can; it's about what you can't

How good it would be if you do something you like!!
How happy it would be if you achieve something which you can't!!
How exciting it would be, if you do those with your friends!!!
Yes we did...
It was challenging... Challenges in different forms...
We five of us, Senthil, Kumar, Jansi, Jaya and myself, planned to go for a trip, a small trek...

The challenge started here...

I have never come across anyone in this world without problems... have you?  And the plan was about to be dropped. Family issues, rumors on Chief Minister, climatic conditions, etc. etc.. The enthusiastic five never wanted the plan to be dropped. The plan was to go to Nagallapuram, which is known for its unknown routes. So we arranged a guide to take us to the destination. Sunday was the D day. Saturday night the guide informed people that the routes are blocked by trees due to rainfall.  We had a collaborative talk and took a decision of trying our best to reach where we can.  The D day early morning 5 am we started our journey. The previous day we had put our efforts to understand the route where there is no route.
We reached the destination of start (ie) the starting point of trekking. No one to guide. No routes. No one else on the way to seek help. What we all had was happiness, passion and trust. With all these we started our walk. We never felt we are new to the place. Yes the Sun didn't show mercy on us. It tried it's best to drain us down but it couldn't. We had a strong defense force and a technique with us . The defense force is none other than a camera and the technique is Selfie. It made us smile even in hot Sun. 2 liters of water it was empty within 15 min. We walked down the forest with no water with a hope we will reach the desired destination ie water falls. Soon after 2 hrs we reached water stream crossing point. A sense of achievement in all of us. The saying "Happiness is a journey not the destination" became true at that point of time. No energy to move on, yet we moved. Further down, farther from the water stream, climbed up and down, with the rhythm of humming insects, removed the mask (profession, education, religion, etc) and realized the true self. Listening to the nature, we walked for a while.  When you are with the nature, you can communicate with the nature, it communicates with you. The water falls with its fall directed us.  Reached the sliding falls. No words, just the feel. The journey didn't stop, yet another falls that was our destination. Little risky, which we felt only after seeing the photos of our path. A space for a  Hallux (big toe) and if you slip, you will be on the rock 40 ft down. No way to escape. The thrill, the passion, the energy kept us moving.
Finally,  We were in the place we were supposed to be. I felt the saying "Happiness is a journey not the destination" was not true. Happiness is reaching the destination.  We were much happier than we expected.  We forgot ourselves and jumped into the freezing water. We enjoyed the luxury at no penny. Played with Monkeys by waving them away, running inside the water to avoid the free pedicure by those cute fishes. Oh! We forgot our lunch. We had vessels and rice to cook. Back again to primitive age of cooking, with dried leaves and sticks in the forest. Not sure if the food was soo tasty, but it was hot and yummy. With no heart we had to start back to continue our mechanical life.

Once a while running out of routine is healthy.

The challenges were not actually the challenges; they were the real catalyst of happiness. Overcoming the challenges gave the feel of happiness. It was an awesome trip filled with happiness which will be memorable forever!!!

Few tips to reach nagallapuram:

What I heard is there are different routes to reach the waterfalls at nagallapuram. Let me mention the route which we followed and was soo easy.

From Chennai, goto Uthukottai, then go towards Nagallapuram but don't go into the nagallapuram village which is on the right side. Go to pichatur (right side service road) which will be around 10 km from nagallapuram. Then take right to Arai village which will take u to the dam.

Left side below the big tree, there is parking (car / bike) paid parking rupees 60/-.

Park and walk to the right side. Climb up the small sand slide and you can see the amazing scenery. Mountain behind the dam. Then walk towards the forest. Live with the nature and explore it.

Comment if u need any clarification, will try my best to help you out.
(Will post pics soon)

My autobiography "How not to Live"

I always wanted to write about my life as a book but it's not worth writing about it and it won't be useful to anyone.
But suddenly some quote strike my mind, I am not useless, I can be used as a bad example. Which gave birth to my precious book "How not to Live".
Living is easy but living good is difficult. Good can be defined only in comparison with something bad. Without me there can't be any good human. I'm bad and my life is bad but I came across many good human. They made me understand that I'm bad.
I'm gonna write about my experiences, obviously my bad experiences which anyone should avoid to live a good life..
There are few good experiences too.. you decide what is good for you and what is bad for you.. anyone can define what is good and what is bad but no one can define what is good for you and what is bad for you when it comes to your life.. you are the designer of your life..
The book "How not to Live " will be published soon or later.. hurry up and book your book!!! I'm not sure if it will be worth reading the book but if you really understood the meaning of life it will be worth living a life without doing what is not mentioned in the book..
Why are you still waiting? Book it now.. first 100 editions free.. it's gonna be the book of the millennium.. may be!!! Who knows???
See you soon!!!
